Between April and September the Harriers hold many Cross Country Runs varying from 500 metres to 8km in Bendigo and surrounding areas. The Harriers are by far the largest club with Cross Country in Bendigo that involve themselves in the relaxing strolls in the bush around Bendigo.

Areas such as the Ken Wust Reserve in Quarry Hill to the bush of Sedgwick or Harcourt are some of the many areas visited by members of the club of all abilities.

The atmosphere is one of fun and many families run or walk with the littlies competing in the 500 metres with possibly Mum and Dad competing in the 3km or longer. All abilities are catered for and with the events being mainly handicapped that are designed for everyone to cross the line close together.
