Feature Events of the Harriers

The Bendigo YMCA Harriers are the driving forces of two of the biggest running events on the regions calendar. These events are the:

EASTER DRAGON MILE

KEITH HUDDLE EAGLEHAWK TO BENDIGO

Both events play an integral part of the regions sporting calendar with Australian representatives in the past playing a huge part on their outcome.

It is not only though the serious athlete taking part. The Easter Dragon Mile is a tradition at this festive time of year with the population of Bendigo lining the streets to participate or as spectators. Different races are run according to age from Primary School to the Open and Veteran events.

The success of the events though is through no small way made up of the efforts of the Harriers Volunteers that allow the day and organisation to run smoothly.

Get Ready to Rumble!
The Primary School section is about to start as the kids jostle for position at the starting grid before the charge of the Light Brigade at the 2008 Dragon Mile.
