Harriers Representative Teams

The Bendigo YMCA Harriers have been at the forefront of representative teams for a number of years.

As a club the Harriers are always amongst the top clubs at the Athletics Victoria Track and Field Country Championships.

To the top echelon of athletics the Harriers have Olympians or Commonwealth Games representatives like ......

The club currently has a crop of young stars that have represented the club at National Championships including Brady Threlfall, Cody Williamson, Leon Keely and David Kinnersley.

During the winter the club is the mainstay of Athletics Bendigo being able to field teams in the Athletics Victoria XCR09 season and also in the past. Without the Harriers there would be no Athletic Bendigo teams currently being represented at this State Level competition. Looking at the numbers this year over 80% of the Athletics Bendigo teams are Harriers. Currently the Men are having their first year in Division 1 after promotion last year. Our open Women's team currently sit at the top of the Division 2 ladder.
